PMP: Project Management Professional
(Advanced--level certification)
PMI’s Project Management Professional (PMP) credential is a globally-recognized industry standard certification for project managers. PMP certification demonstrates that you have the experience, education and competency to lead and direct projects.
To be eligible for the PMP certification, you must meet certain educational and professional experience requirements. All project management experience must have been accrued within the last eight consecutive years prior to your application submission, and you need to have either:
A secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree or global equivalent) along with a minimum five years/60 months unique non-overlapping professional project management experience during which at least 7,500 hours were spent leading and directing the project* and 35 contact hours of formal project management education.
OR
*Leading and directing the project as identified with the tasks, knowledge, and skills specific in the Project Management Professional Examination Content Outline.
NOTE: In A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) it defines a project as a temporary endeavor undertaken to create a unique product, service or result.

Project Management Professional ( PMP ) Certification Exam Preparation (5 days)
This course is appropriate for project directors, managers, leaders, sub-project leaders or team members who typically have three-to-five or more years of project management experience and plan to sit for the PMP exam. During this five-day course you will gain knowledge to pass your PMP® Exam and practical skills to improve your project management activities. The class includes 900+ pages of courseware, the PMBOK Guide®, and a Q&A guide with several hundred practice questions. View outline &

You will need to submit the appropriate application, may be subject to an audit, and pass the PMP examination within a set timeframe.
The PMP certification exam has 200 multiple-choice questions, and you have four hours to complete it. Students need to schedule the exam with Prometric.com and you will be asked for your eligibility number.
To maintain your PMP, you must earn 60 professional development units (PDUs) every three years. ONLC Training Centers is a PMI R.E.P. Many ONLC classes are approved PDU credits.
Professional Credits
Many of ONLC's courses are approved for professional credits such as CEUs (Continuing Education Unit), CPEs (Continuing Professional Education) and PDUs (Professional Development Units).
