Earning a Microsoft certification is a great way to prove your technical skill. In most cases, you can earn MCSA certification by passing just two exams. Pass one more exam from there to earn the premiere MCSE or MCSD (for developers) certification.
The best way to prepare for a certification exam is with hands-on experience with the technology. ONLC offers two authorized training options to help you prepare for the technical-level certification exams.
Instructor-led Training (ILT). Our live, instructor-led training (ILT) courses are hands-on and led by a Microsoft Certified Trainer, a premier technical and instructional expert in Microsoft technologies.
On-Demand. We also offer Microsoft's authorized self-study option named MOC On-Demand. If you are an IT professional who just needs to brush up on select topics, MOC On-Demand lets you do that without taking several days off from work. If you're new to the IT industry, MOC On-Demand lets you learn new skills over a period of months and at your own pace. Note, not all exams have a corresponding MOC On-Demand option.
IMPORTANT: Microsoft is rolling out new Role-based Certfications for technical products. Some MCSA / MCSE certification courses and exams have been retired. Microsoft's role-based certification model is based on three tiers of expertise: Fundamentals, Associate, and Expert. The new credentials will replace MTA, MCSA, MCSE and MCSD certifications. Transition exams might be available for a limited time to candidates who have completed only part of an MCSA, MCSE or MCSD certification path. If no transition option is available, per Microsoft such individuals should still take the original required exam(s) to complete their MCSA, MCSE or MCSD certification, but do so quickly as all affected exams are expected to be retired within six (6) months of the new exam availability. Candidates who purchase a MCSA or MCSE Bundle from ONLC are responsible to adjust their training and exam schedule accordingly should Microsoft retire any certification courses and exams in your bundle. Additionally, retired Microsoft authorized courses are no longer applicable for ONLC's free retake, make-up or extended lab time options.

ONLC will continue to update information on our web site as new certifications are released by Microsoft. Please plan accordingly and contact an ONLC Advisor at our toll free number with any questions.
Microsoft's older certification model of MCSA / MCSE / MCSD credentials are still available to showcase your skills on specific Microsoft products and services in the areas of Cloud Platform & Infrastructure, Data Management & Analytics and App Builder.

IMPORTANT: Many of the courses and exams for the Mobility, and Productivity tracks have been RETIRED.
Microsoft has replaced those tracks with the new Microsoft 365 role-based certifications .
For MCSA (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate) certification, candidates only need to pass two to three exams to earn the MCSA credential. You only need to earn one (1) of the above MCSA credentials to then move on to the MCSE/MCSD credential.

Once you've earned an MCSA in a given track, you only need to pass one (1) exam from the list of approved electives to earn the higher-level MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or MCSD (Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer) credential.
MCSE / MCSD certifications no longer have a recertification requirement like the credentials released prior to September 2016. Instead, you'll have an opportunity every year to re-earn the certification by passing an exam from the list of electives thereby demonstrating your investment in deepening and broadening your skills. Each time you pass a certification exam a new entry will be added to your transcript.
