Instructor-led Training (ILT)
Instructor-led training (ILT) classes are live, hands-on* training via remote instructor. Training is fully interactive. The instructor leads the class and supports participants. We offer hundreds of classes on our public schedule. Participants may attend class from any ONLC center (convenient locations coast to coast) OR from their own location.

(* Classes related to concepts and processes rather than specific software are commonly more lecture and discussion oriented.)


On-Demand (self-study / eLearning)

On-Demand courses are self-study, self-paced training you take using your own equipment from your own location. "On-Demand" will be in the course title to indicate this learning format. These eLearning courses may include video tutorials, live labs and assessments. Once purchased, you'll have 24/7 access to your self-study course for an extended period of time (duration varies and is indicated in the course outline).


For Instructor-led (ILT) Classes

Instructor-led classes range from 1 to 5 days in duration and are held weekdays. Class times are based on the location time zone and are typically:

10:00am - 4:45pm Eastern
9:00am - 3:45pm Central
8:00am - 2:45pm Mountain
7:00am - 1:45pm Pacific

Some classes may have longer class hours. To confirm class meeting times, on the course outline page rest your cursor on a class date. A small window will open displaying the class times by time zone.

For On-Demand (self-study) Courses

On-Demand courses are available 24/7 (assumes internet access). Duration of access varies by title, but is typically multiple months. See the On-Demand course outline for specifics.




For live, instructor-led classes enrollments from multiple locations are combined for class. Classes limited to no more than 12 students nationwide. Though we could greatly exceed that enrollment amount, we limit registrations to ensure for individual attention from the instructor.

COVID-19 NOTE: ONLC is limiting seating to one (1) person per training room at our centers across the USA. This enhanced measure is being done to help protect the health of our clients. See our COVID Health & Safety Policy.



ONLC is a business-to-business (B2B) training provider. A handful of states prohibit their citizens who are paying for training personally (your own account rather than paid by an employer or business) from attending our instructor-led classes within that same state. There is no restriction on individuals whose employer or business is paying for the training, or for On-Demand course purchases.

If you are in the first category of student and in a state that restricts private citizens we must decline your registration.



AT AN ONLC SITE: ONLC has hundreds of computer training centers coast to coast. We schedule every instructor-led class date for each ONLC center. We have a set number of training rooms at each site. Once all rooms are booked (assigned on a first-registered basis), then that site is no longer an option for those class date(s).

AT YOUR OWN SITE: You may attend an instructor-led class from your home/office computer. The setup is really easy and just requires a computer, internet service and audio. See RCI from Home or Office for our easy setup video. For web registrations choose VI-Home/Office (first location listing) to attend from your own place.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you plan to use an employer-assigned computer or work VPN to attend our training there could be a firewall blocking our connection. You should try our connection test before registering as a "home" participant.


Helpful Indicators

On a course outline page you may see some of these icons. Here's what they mean:

= Class is "Ready to Run" on the date(s) indicated.
It is possible that the class may not run on the indicated date if registered students elect to reschedule or cancel from that class. But, most likely, the class will run as scheduled.

= Class is approaching Ready to Run status.
These classes have an excellent chance of reaching "Ready to Run" status.

= Late Registration Fee May Apply.
If you register within 5 days of a class, you will incur a late registration fee. This fee covers our increased costs to express ship books, late computer provisioning, etc. The fee varies by course.

= Final Chance to Register - does not guarantee availability.
The date listed to the right of that line is the absolute last day ONLC will entertain a registration for this class date, and then only if a seat is available AND space at the requested location.

Students must be registered well IN ADVANCE to attend our classes; walk-ins are not accepted. A guarantee of payment is required at the time of registration.

A price quote from ONLC is NOT a registration and does not reserve a seat in a class.

State tax when applicable is applied to On-Demand course purchases. The states of CT and NM require us to charge tax on instructor-led classes which is in addition to the class price.

REGISTER VIA PHONE (major credit card, vendor voucher, company PO or SF-182):  
Accepted payment forms include major credit card, software vendor voucher (Microsoft, Cisco), Company Purchase Order agreeing to ONLC's terms of NET 30 Days, and some government forms including SF-182. You will need to provide that information at the time of registration.

  1. On the class outline web page click the ENROLL button under the desired class date.

  2. A smaller window will open. Click Enroll Home/Office at the top of the window if you want to attend class from your own location. Or, click on an ONLC center (use scroll bars) and click to highlight the desire state/city then click the Enroll ONLC Location button at the bottom of the window.

  3. Enter all required information on the registration form.

    If the location you're requesting does not have availability, but there is availability at other nearby ONLC sites you'll see those listed.

    * Credit cards are charged three (3) business days before the class. A receipt will be sent to the e-address provided on the registration form. If you need the card charged sooner you need to contact an ONLC Advisor at 1-800-288-8221 (Monday-Friday, weekdays) with that request.


REGISTER VIA EMAIL (requires Company Purchase Order or SF-182):  

IMPORTANT: Receipt of an email or fax does NOT GUARANTEE a seat in the class. If you do not receive a reply from ONLC to your request by the next business day you need to contact an ONLC Advisor at our toll free number.

All classes and training locations are subject to availability. Additionally, we cannot process requests that are missing required information or forms.

  1. Obtain your SF-182 or Company's PO agreeing to ONLC's NET 30 Days payment terms.
    Make sure the form or your cover information clearly identifies the following details:

    Student's name, e-address and phone number
    Course title, training location address, and date(s)
    Company name with accounting contact and accounting phone number

  2. Send PO/ SF-182 via email to ONLC   -or-   Fax: 302-225-4477

    Company checks will only be accepted at ONLC's Corporate Headquarters in Wilmington, Delaware. Payments should not to be given to any other location (in person or mailed). See ONLC's vendor information for our Accounts Payable address, W9 and other vendor details.

You should receive an email within 24 hours of registering if we have received and can accept your registration.

If you do not receive a confirmation within 24 hours you need to contact us at 1-800-288-8221 for review.

Emails are also sent if you cancel or reschedule a registration as confirmation.

In the confirmation email will be a directions link if you are attending class at an ONLC center. We recommend you review the linked information PRIOR to the first day of class. In addition to driving directions, there's a photo of the building for visual reference and possibly other details such as where you are to be greeted, where you may or may not park and so on—details you won't get from GPS.

Any travel, transit and parking costs are the sole responsibility of the attendee. If booking travel, we suggest you obtain refundable reservations. ONLC will not be responsible for any cancellation costs incurred including but not limited to airline tickets, hotel reservations, parking or meals.

Class delays and cancellations due to weather or other unforeseen factors are posted on our website. We strongly recommend students check our web site before heading out the morning of class to check for any such notices.

If attending class at an ONLC site all the necessary equipment will be at our site. Local staff will greet you and direct you to our training area. Please be prompt as the instructor may not be able to delay the start of a class for a student, and local staff may need to accommodate others.

YOUR SITE: If attending class from your own location, you will need to provide the necessary equipment and install the conferencing software to connect into the classroom. You should connect at least 30 minutes before the start of your class to verify that all connections are working properly.

CLASS BREAKS: Most instructors will have a short break in the morning and another in the afternoon so students can stretch, use restrooms and so on. Additionally, there will be a slightly longer break for lunch. ONLC does not provide lunch. There are typically dining facilities nearby or students may opt to bring something with them.


ATTIRE: We invite students to dress casually and comfortably for class so you can focus on learning.


SKILLS & DECORUM: Prerequisites are listed on our course outlines for students to assess their suitability for a class. Additionally, ONLC’s advisors may be able to help you determine an appropriate level. Should a student be lacking the prerequisite skills for class or fail to maintain a professional demeanor in class, ONLC may exercise the following options:

  • Restricted Participation
    Should an instructor find a student lacks the class prerequisite skills, is slowing down the overall pace of the class, distracting the class with topics outside of the scope of the class and level, the instructor can require that student continue with Restricted Participation status.

    Restricted Participation students may either remain in class doing the hands-on labs to the best of one's ability without asking questions or receiving assistance from the instructor, or may leave the class.

    Restricted Participation
    students who complete their original class may repeat the class at no additional charge once they have learned the necessary prerequisite skills using our Make-up Policy. You will need to use your original course materials as no new materials will be issued.

  • Right of Dismissal
    In order to maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning for all attendees, ONLC Training Centers reserves the right to dismiss a participant who is harassing other participants, the instructor, or who in ONLC's judgment acts inappropriately or disruptively from the class and our premises.


NOTE: In the case of dismissal or choice by a Restricted Participation student to leave class at the time of status change, ONLC Training Centers’ liability will be limited to a refund of the class fee already paid by the participant/participant's organization. ONLC shall not be responsible for any consequential loss or inconvenience arising from the adjusted status.

Course Certificate

ONLC provides a Certificate of Completion once we can confirm your full attendance in an instructor-led class (estimate up to a week following your class) unless there is an exception (see below). Certificates of Completion are sent via email to the e-address on the registration record. Certificates are provided as a .pdf so you have a digital record to print as needed.

Course Certificate Exceptions:

As of January 01, 2020, training centers are NOT allowed to issue a certificate of completion for ITIL classes per AXELOS guidelines. ONLC is permitted to issue a letter confirming course attendance only. Students who have attended ITIL training at ONLC in need of said letter should request ITIL attendance letter via email.


Copy of an Invoice/Receipt
Invoices and receipts are automatically generated and sent to the e-address provided on the registration.

If you need a copy of an invoice or receipt for which you registered directly with ONLC, you can obtain it here: get invoice/receipt. You need to enter the student's name exactly as provided at the time of registration PLUS their zip code. After clicking OK you should see either:

  • Invoice if payment has not yet been received/charged.
  • Receipt once payment has been processed by ONLC.
    (Though we may have your credit card information, ONLC does not charge credit cards until three business days before class unless requested otherwise by the client.)

Invoices/receipts are available for up to one month from the date of the class.

In the unlikely event ONLC needs to cancel an instructor-led class because the class date has not met minimum enrollment (determined 2-3 weeks prior), or postpone a class due to circumstances beyond our control, registered students will be notified as quickly as possible. In such cases, the student may choose to reschedule to a future class date at no additional charge, or cancel with refund if any money is on account for that specific registration.


Because we must schedule rooms, ship course materials, assign instructors and provision computer resources well in advance, it is important students alert us ASAP with any cancel/reschedule requests to avoid penalties or restrictions. Please note the following policies:

If requested 15 or More Calendar Days before the Class

Student cancellation or reschedule requests received 15 calendar days or more before the class starts will be processed promptly.

  • Cancellation requests made in this timeframe are eligible for refund of money on account for this specific registration.

  • Reschedule requests made in this timeframe will be accommodated if availability exists and will be processed at no additional charge.

If requested 14 Calendar Days or Less before the Class

For most titles but not all (see exceptions below), cancellation or reschedule requests made by the student 14 calendar days or less before the class starts will be charged 100% the course fee and are not entitled to a refund.

  • The student has one (1) opportunity to use our Make-Up policy to have those funds applied to a later class date.

  • Students requesting to change just their class location between eight (8) and fourteen (14) days prior to the class MIGHT be possible if ONLC has availability, but may be subject to an additional charge for provisions re-routing. ONLC cannot accommodate location change requests made seven (7) days or less before the class start.


State Government: Individuals in programs directed by the State government will be subject to the cancellation policies dictated by that state. See your respective state enrollment application for details.


If you are unable to attend your class, a substitute who meets the course prerequisites may attend in your place at no additional charge for the original class title, date and location. If you cannot find a substitute, you will be subject to the class cancellation policy.


For most titles but not all (see exceptions below), students are permitted one (1) Make-Up opportunity to attend an instructor-led class that was paid for but not previously attended for no additional charge.

  • Make-Up class registrations are subject to availability and are not entitled to refund.

  • You must CALL 1-800-288-8221 (Monday-Friday, weekdays) and speak with one of our Education Advisors to schedule your Make-up class.

  • Students may not reschedule a Make-up class registration. Any no shows or cancellations forfeit their one Make-up opportunity. Additionally, ONLC reserves the right to retire courses due to lack of demand. Retired classes are not available for Make-Up.


Cisco classes:
ONLC's Make-up option is not applicable for Cisco classes. Additionally, cancellations and reschedule requests made 14 days or fewer before the start of any Cisco class are NOT permitted. Funds will be forfeited and rescheduling is not allowed.

If you would like to repeat a daytime instructor-led (ILT) class you have already attended and paid for with ONLC, contact our Education Advisors toll free about our Retake option. Our retake policy allows for...

One (1) opportunity for the student to retake the exact same publicly offered instructor-led course that the student
previously attended at ONLC Training Centers for no additional charge within 12 months of the original class.

NOTE: The free retake for BizTalk, TFS and Business Process/Analyst classes
must be within six (6) months of your original class date.

Courses with new software versions, revisions or revised course materials are NOT eligible for retake. Retake students need to use the course materials that were provided for their original instructor-led class for the retake. No new materials will be provided.

ONLC reserves the right to limit retake requests based on class capacity.

If you cancel your free retake registration 14 calendar days or less before the class start, or fail to show up for class you forfeit your free retake opportunity. No substitutions allowed.

ONLC reserves the right to retire courses and versions due to lack of demand. Retired classes are no longer available for the free retake.

Hard copy materials need to be returned to ONLC for full refund—either leave the hard copy materials in the ONLC classroom, or ship it to our corporate HQ if you are a home/office attendee. Refund offer does not apply if student cancels or reschedules 14 or less days before the class, and is null and void if a Make-up policy registration or a self-study course/event.
