The course helps prepare candidates to take the CompTIA A+ Core 1 (220-1201) and Core 2 (220-1202) certification exams. The CompTIA A+ certification is aimed at individuals who are interested in becoming an IT professional and establish a career in job roles such as: IT support specialist, IT field service technician, desktop support analyst and help desk tier 2 support.
Students should meet the following criteria prior to taking the course:
• Basic computer skills and an understanding of computer hardware and operating systems
• 12+ months hands-on experience working with computer hardware and software in a professional setting.
