Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification for Outlook helps validate your proficiency in using Microsoft Office Outlook. Candidates must pass one certification exam in order to earn this MOS certification.

Certification Exam

77-423: Microsoft Outlook 2013

For this exam students should be able to format message content by using character and paragraph formatting, use graphic elements such as charts and tables, and create contact records, tasks, and appointments from incoming messages. Skills should also include the ability to create contact groups, schedule meetings, and share schedules to facilitate communication with other Outlook users. The MOS Outlook 2013 exam presents a short project that the candidate must complete, using the specifications provided. Learn more about Exam 77-423.

Candidates for this exam should have the equivalent of six months to one year of hands-on experience managing their own time, tasks, e-mail, and projects by using Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 and might have experience with previous versions of Microsoft Office Outlook.
