The main purpose of the Power BI for Excel Users course is to review the essential skills needed to take data from Excel into Power BI then transform and shape the data, model the data, create reports, then publish the reports on the Power BI cloud service. The Power BI Intermediate course is intended as a continuation of the introductory-level courses in Power BI (DA-100: Analyzing Data with Power BI and/or Power BI for Excel Users). It covers common intermediate-level tasks and some of Power BIís most desirable new features.

Students should have experience creating worksheets in Excel. Familiarity with Pivot Tables is a plus, but is not required. Before moving to the Intermediate class, students should have the general knowledge equivalent to what is covered in: Power BI for Excel Users or DA-100: Analyzing Data with Power BI.
