Microsoft Certification Overview

Microsoft certification is available for desktop applications and technical products/technology. To become Microsoft certified you must pass the authorized exam(s).

The best way to prepare for a certification exam is with hands-on experience with the technology. ONLC Training Centers is a Microsoft Gold Learning Partner. We have been helping students prep for certification since Microsoft first introduced their professional certifications.

Our instructor-led training (ILT) classes are Microsoft authorized and provide you with live, hands-on training. You can attend classes at any of our more than 300 training locations, or from your own location.

If you prefer to study on your own, you'll want MOC On-Demand—Microsoft's official self-study option. ONLC Training Centers is one of a handful of approved providers from which you can purchase MOC On-Demand courses. Learn about MOC On-Demand.

Microsoft Job-Role Certifications

CHANGES: Microsoft is rolling out new Job-Role Certfications. The new certification model is based on three tiers of expertise: Fundamentals, Associate, and Expert. You can advance your skills, get hired, demonstrate clear business impact, and take your career to the next level with the new Microsoft credentials. The new credentials are expected to replace the MTA, MCSA, MCSE and MCSD certifications.

Transition exams might be available for a limited time to candidates who have only completed part of an MCSA, MCSE or MCSD certification path. (Click the job-role certification links immediately below for transition exam listings.) If no transition option is available then such individuals should still take the original required exam(s) to complete their MCSA, MCSE or MCSD certification, but do so quickly as all affected exams are expected to be retired within six (6) months of the new exam availability.
