Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification for Access helps validate your proficiency in using Microsoft Office Access. Candidates must pass one certification exam in order to earn this MOS certification.

Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification: Access 2013
(First series certification)

To achieve this certification you must pass the designated exam. You can help prepare for the exam by attending the courses listed.

77-424: Microsoft Access 2013

For this exam you need to be able to create and maintain a basic Access database, create, modify, and extend functionality of basic database objects, including tables, queries, forms, and reports. You should also be able to construct and modify basic relationships among database entities and be able to instruct others in basic Access functionality and usage. Learn more about Exam 77-424.

Microsoft Access 2013 Introduction  (2 Days)
During this two-day course you will create and modify new databases and their various objects. This Level 1 course is for the individual whose job responsibilities include designing and creating new databases, tables, and relationships; creating and maintaining records; locating records; and producing reports based on the information in the database. It also provides the fundamental knowledge and techniques needed to advance to more complex Access responsibilities such as maintaining databases and using programming techniques that enhance Access applications. In this course, you will maintain data consistency and integrity; improve queries, forms, and reports; and also integrate Microsoft Office Access 2013 with other applications. View outline & dates.

77-605: MOS: Using Microsoft Office Access 2007

Candidates for this exam should have the equivalent of six months to one year of hands-on experience using Microsoft Office Access 2007 and might have experience using previous versions of Microsoft Access. They are especially effective and efficient at structuring databases, creating and formatting database elements, entering and modifying data, creating and modifying queries, presenting and sharing data, and managing and maintaining the overall database. The Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification extends to all versions of Microsoft Office, including those which were previously the Microsoft Certified Application Specialist (MCAS) certifications.

Please note that all MOS 2003 certification exams were retired as of December 31, 2012.
