ManagerBoston, MA Computer Training Center Hours:
Part-time, Monday - Friday, 8:00am-12:00pm (some flexibility) Purpose:
To be the main point of contact for students taking classes at the site, provide
excellent customer service, maintain the classrooms, lunchroom and common areas,
manage inventory of supplies and courseware. Assist our Facilities team by helping
with class set-ups and light IT troubleshooting. Responsibilities: - Open
the office8am
- Greet/sign in studentsuntil about 9am
- Answer
questions (give directions, explain where things arerestaurants, ATMs, next
classes, etc.)
- Provide/replenish refreshments
- Make sure all
remote classroom connections are properly working prior to the start of class.
- Class set ups (Prepare drives as far in advance as possible, install
drives in classroom computers, make sure there are pencils/highlighters/dry erase
makers, etc. in all rooms.
- Regularly clean classrooms (monitors, table
tops, toss stuff left behind, straighten cords, etc.)
- Courseware Inventory:
- Monthly inventory
- Check in orders
- Match orders with
classes on calendar
- Set out books day before class
- Work with
Staff at headquarters on last minute book issues
Required
Skills: - Excellent customer service skills
- Strong work
ethic and high level of dependability
- Strong organizational skills
- Able
to work independently as well as know when to ask for help
- Strong attention
to detail
- Working knowledge of common PC business applications (email,
word processing, data entry into a database)
- Knowledge/interest of networking,
hardware, applications, PC troubleshooting a plus
Microsoft
Certified Trainer (MCT)/Consultant ONLC Training Centers
is looking for contractor trainers with these qualifications: - Premier
Microsoft Certification (MCSE, MCSD, MCDBA)
- Microsoft Certified Trainer
(MCT) status
- Consulting experience including developing custom training
solutions, Architectural Design and Proof of Concept work related to product deployment
Expertise
in one or more of the following technologies: - .NET development
- Windows
Server 2003
- SharePoint (SharePoint Team Services/SharePoint Portal Server)
- SQL
and SQL Reporting Services
- Active Directory
- Exchange
- Systems
Management Server/Microsoft Operations Manager (SMS/MOM)
