MOS Office Applications:
The Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification helps validate your proficiency in using specific Microsoft Office products—including Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Note: The Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification extends to all versions of Microsoft Office including older versions of Office which assigned the Microsoft Certified Application Specialist (MCAS) credential. Previously earned MCAS certifications are still valid. Contact Microsoft directly to have your transcript and certificate updated with the Microsoft Office Specialist credential.

Though you may see version 2003 classes on our schedule for Office products, you should note that all Microsoft Office Specialist certification exams for version 2003 were retired as of December 31, 2012.

Microsoft Project 2007
The authorized exams for Microsoft Project 2007 certification are retired as of January 31, 2013.


SharePoint 2007 certification


MCSE: SharePoint Server 2013: Earn recognition for your expertise in helping a company organize, sync, collaborate, and share information across the organization by earning MCSE: SharePoint certification.

MCTS: Application Development: For developers who want to demonstrate their expertise in building Web portals and integrating business applications with SharePoint Server 2007.

MCTS: Configuration: For IT professionals who want to demonstrate their technical expertise in configuring and deploying SharePoint Server 2007.


SQL Server 2008 certification

MCSA: This certification validates that you have acquired the essential skills and knowledge to develop, run, and maintain the next wave of advanced database and information solutions.

MCSE: Builds on the MCSA prerequisite and is designed for IT professionals who want to demonstrate their expertise in using SQL Server 2012 for one of two specific job roles — Data Platform or Business Intelligence.

SQL Server 2008 certification

MCTS: For IT professionals who want to demonstrate their technical expertise in one of three areas: Implementation and Maintenance, Database Development, or Business Intelligence.

MCITP: Builds on an MCSA pre-requisite and is designed for IT professionals who want to demonstrate their expertise in using SQL Server 2012. Data Platform certification to demonstrate your indispensable expertise to build enterprise-scale data solutions on-premises or in the cloud.

Microsoft SQL Server 2005 certification
Though you may see some SQL Server 2005 courses on our schedule, please note that Microsoft retired the standard SQL Server 2005 certification exams as of June 30, 2011, and the upgrade to version 2008 exams as of July 31, 2012.

Microsoft System Center
MCTS: For IT professionals who want to demonstrate their in-depth technical skills in one of two key System Center technologies: Configuration Manager or Operations Manager.

Visual Studio 2012


MCSD
: Several options for developers who want to demonstrate their technical expertise to design and develop Windows and Web Applications in the cloud and for Windows 8.

 

Visual Studio 2010

MCTS: Multiple options for developers who want to demonstrate their technical expertise using the .NET Framework 4.0.

MCPD: Builds on an MCTS pre-requisite(s) and is designed for developers who want to demonstrate their expertise in using Visual Studio 2010 for Windows or Web Developer.

As of July 31, 2013, all Visual Studio 2008 and Visual Studio 2010 exams will be retired.

Visual Studio 2008

MCTS: Three options for developers who want to demonstrate their technical expertise in using the .NET Framework 3.5; six specialty areas are available: Windows Presentation Foundation, Windows Communication Foundation, Windows Workflow Foundation, Windows Forms, ASP.NET, and ADO.NET.

MCPD: Builds on an MCTS pre-requisite(s) and is designed for developers who want to demonstrate their expertise in using Visual Studio 2008 for one of three specific job roles: Windows Developer, ASP.NET Developer, or Enterprise Application Developer.

As of July 31, 2013, all Visual Studio 2008 and Visual Studio 2010 exams will be retired.

Microsoft Visual Studio 2005

Though you may see Visual Studio 2005 courses on our schedule, please note that Microsoft retired the Visual Studio 2005 exams as of June 30, 2011.


Windows 8

MCSA: MCSA Windows 8 certification shows that you have the primary set of operating system skills that are relevant for Windows desktops and devices. This certification is for you if you work with businesses and individuals to manage and support computers and devices which are typically set up in a peer-to-peer or remote environment.


Windows 7

MCTS: For IT professionals who want to demonstrate their ability to successfully implement, build on, troubleshoot, and debug Windows Client technologies.

MCITP: This IT professional has the comprehensive set of skills necessary to deploy, design and/or maintain Windows Client. MCITP certifications build on the technical proficiency measured in the Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) certifications. Therefore, you will earn one or more MCTS certifications on your way to earning an MCITP certification.


Windows Server 2008

MCSA: The Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) Windows Server 2012 certification shows that you have the primary set of Windows Server skills that are relevant across multiple solution areas in a business environment.

MCSE: Builds on the MCSA certification and and is designed for IT professionals who want to demonstrate their technical skills in one of two job focuses: Desktop Infrastructure or Server Infrastructure.


Windows Server 2008

MCSA: This credential is a newer addition for version 2008. It shows that you have the minimum set of skills needed to hit the ground running, and differentiates you as able to work with Windows Server 2008 in a real-world business context. SPECIAL NOTE: If you are already certified as a MCITP: Enterprise Administrator OR MCITP: Server Administrator, you have already earned MCSA: Windows Server 2008 certification.

MCTS: For IT professionals who want to demonstrate their in-depth knowledge of key Windows Server 2008 technologies: Active Directory Configuration, Network Infrastructure Configuration, and/or Applications Infrastructure Configuration.

MCITP: Builds on a combination of MCTS pre-requisites and is designed for IT professionals who want to demonstrate their technical skills in one of two industry-defined job roles: Enterprise Administrator or Server Administrator

Microsoft Technology Associate MTA
For those new to technology, MTA is the recommended starting point for Microsoft certifications. While MTA certifications are not a pre-requisite for the next level of certification (MCSA), they do provide a solid foundation for those preparing for an MCSA certification. MTA validates the fundamental knowledge that new entrants to IT need to start building a career in Microsoft technologies. Pass a single MTA exam and you'll earn MTA certification.

Microsoft Certified Trainer/Presenter MCT
As part of the MCT certification, a candidate must hold one or more related Microosft certifications in order to teach a Microsoft Learning or Microsoft Dynamics course. Learn more about the MCT requirements on the Microsoft web site.

Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician MCDST
Most of the exams for MCDST were retired as of 06/30/11. See Windows 8 certification above for current certifications.

Microsoft Certified Application Developer MCAD
Most of the exams for MCSD credential are retired. See Visual Studio certification above for current certifications.

Microsoft Certified Database Administrator MCDBA
Most of the exams for MCSD credential are retired. See SQL Server certifications above for current certifications.

Version 2003 only for Microsoft Office Specialist

Cisco certification classes at ONLC Training Centers


Cisco® offers four certification levels starting with Entry and/or Associate (CCNA), followed by Professional (CCNP), then Expert (CCIE) which is the highest level of achievement. There are seven different paths or areas of focus for each credential...

Routing and Switching: This path is for professionals who install and support Cisco technology-based networks in which LAN and WAN routers and switches reside.

Design: This path is aimed at professionals who design Cisco technology-based networks in which LAN and WAN routers and switches reside. Network

Security: This path is directed toward network professionals who design and implement Cisco Secure networks.

Service Provider: This path is aimed at professionals working with infrastructure or access solutions in a Cisco end-to-end environment primarily within the telecommunications arena.

Storage Networking: This path is for professionals who implement storage solutions over extended network infrastructure using multiple transport options.

Voice: This path is directed toward network professionals who install and maintain Voice solutions over IP networks.

Citrix certification at ONLC - a Citrix Authorized Learning Center


Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA). The CCA certification program focuses on the skills and knowledge foundation necessary to successfully support an existing implementation of specific Citrix products.

Citrix Certified Advanced Administrator (CCAA). This new credential allows IT professionals to take their CCA one step further and demonstrate in-depth product skills on additional functions such as monitoring, optimizing and troubleshooting.

Citrix Certified Engineer. The Engineer Series focuses on the skills to plan and integrate select elements of application delivery, from planning - the tactical design expertise needed for scaling and enhancing existing infrastructure, to integration - the know-how to connect systems to create an optimized solution.

PC Support Technician: A+ certification confirms a technician's ability to perform tasks such as installation, configuration, diagnosing, preventive maintenance and basic networking.
