Power BI Introduction for Excel Users Course Outline

*** WARNING: High Volume Class, Sign Up Early ***
Power BI is one of our most popular products. A green flag on a class date means that a session has met the minimum enrollment and is expect to run as scheduled. It is common for these classes to fill weeks in advance. Even if a date has a green flag, you might not be able to get into that session if it is full. To avoid disappointment, it is best to register for this class at least three weeks in advance.

Overview
The main purpose of the course is to review the essential skills needed to take data from Excel into Power BI then transform and shape the data, model the data, create reports, then publish the reports on the Power BI cloud service.

Audience profile
The course is for individuals who are not IT professionals but need to easily create and publish reports with Power BI.

Prerequisites
Before attending this course, students should have experience creating worksheets in Excel. Familiarity with Pivot Tables is a plus, but is not required.

** NOTE: More In-Depth Microsoft Official Course Available **
