Although this class will be taught using Microsoft PowerPoint 2013 and ONLC's "PowerPoint 2013 Introduction" manual, this class is relevant for individuals using either the 2010 or 2013 versions of the software.
The instructor will note where there are differences in features and functions between the two versions. For the most part, those differences will be minor related to the topics taught in this class.
These classes contain the same content that is delivered in our weekday events. Our training facilities are closed after-hours. As a result, you must attend these events from your home or office.

And, that is exactly what Microsoft® Office PowerPoint® 2013 can help you do.
Gone are the days of flip charts or drawing on a white board to illustrate your point. Today's audiences are tech savvy, accustomed to high-impact multimedia content, and stretched for time. By learning how to use the vast array of features and functionality contained within Microsoft® Office PowerPoint® 2013, you will gain the ability to organize your content, enhance it with high-impact visuals, and deliver it with a punch. In this course, you will use PowerPoint 2013 to begin creating engaging, dynamic multimedia presentations.
This course is designed for students who wish to gain the foundational understanding of Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2013 that is necessary to create and develop engaging multimedia presentations.
Microsoft Office Preview Software
This course was developed using the Microsoft Office Preview version of the software. Screenshots, procedures, and activity steps are consistent with the version of the preview software that was available at the time the course went to press. The course will be revised and re-issued when final software is available. It is possible that there may be interim updates to the preview software, which might cause minor discrepancies between the courseware and the application version you are running in your classes.
To ensure success, students should be familiar with using personal computers, and should have experience using a keyboard and mouse. Students should be comfortable in the Windows® 8 environment, and be able to use Windows 8 to manage information on their computers. Specific tasks the students should be able to perform include: launching and closing applications, navigating basic file structures, and managing files and folders.
