THIS IS A SPECIAL AFTER-HOURS CLASS
This class is part of our special after-hours schedule. After-Hours classes meet in the evenings and are typically offered Monday through Thursday nights. Below is some additional background information on our After-Hours classes.
When does the class meet?
To see the class times, place your cursor on top of a class date on this page. A small window will open displaying the class hours by time zones.
In general, classes typically start at 8 pm Eastern, 7 pm Central, 6 pm Mountain, and 5 pm Pacific. Classes meet from 2 to 3 hours each night, depending on the particular class.
Where does the class meet?
All After-Hours classes must be taken from your home or office. If you want to attend a class from one of ONLC's training locations, you will need to take the daytime version of this class. Follow this link to see our weekday class schedule and review the list of over 300 training locations available when you enroll.
Excel Introduction Daytime Class
Is this the same content as the daytime class?
The instructor will review the most important topics during the live instructor-led session. However, the duration of the evening class is slightly less than the daytime class. To compensate for the reduced hours, we include our ONLC On-Demand content. These are self-study materials that will not only fill in the gaps in your learning, but you will also give you the opportunity to review concepts for 6 months after the class. In addition, should you not be able to attend one of the evening sessions, you will have the On-Demand content to bring you back up to speed. We've got you covered!
What software and hardware is needed?
You just need a basic computer with an internet connection. The software will be loaded on our servers and you will connect to that computer. (No software is needed on your computer.) Here's a more detailed list:
- At least 1 monitor (Dual monitors or 2 devices would be helpful, but not required.)
- Audio Connection. You can use audio from your computer with a microphone (a standalone microphone, headset, or even a camera that has a microphone.) Most laptops will have a built-in microphone and speaker. Or use your cell phone.
