GoToMyPC

GoToMyPC is used to allow remote students to operate computers that are located in the classroom with the instructor. GoToMyPC is a web-based service hosted by Citrix. Since it only uses a web protocol, it will work successfully across firewalls and is used when students outside of our sites participate.

The GoToMyPC application must be installed on the host computer. When setting up GoToMyPC an access code must be specified. The access code has to be 8 characters long and include letters and numbers. We will use “gotomypc1” as the access code.

Install: ftp://www2.onlc.com/goto/G2MInstallerExtractor.exe

GoToMyPC should be installed on the student computer. The file is also on our ftp site: ftp://www2.onlc.com/goto/gosetup.exe The login is: [email protected] / 300Delaware

To view a computer from a remote site:

1. Using a web browser, go to http://www.gotomypc.com
2. Login as: [email protected] / 300Delaware
3. Choose your computer – Click Connect
4. You may need to click “Grant this session” to allow the Java viewer applet to run.
