Online training has been around for a while and most of us have participated in eLearning at some point. Training is offered online for everything from basic software to technical certification programs.<\/p>\n
Our Remote Classroom Instruction<\/a> (RCI) is a bit different than most online training.\u00a0 RCI is not a webinar – RCI is live instructor-led training delivered online. RCI provides opportunities for valuable instruction to students who might have previously been unable to participate in online training. Let\u2019s discuss some of the advantages and benefits of RCI.<\/p>\n The biggest benefit of RCI is that our classes run more frequently giving you more choice of class dates to fit your schedule.\u00a0 Because RCI allows us to combine enrollments from many locations, we can run more classes and that means you will get your training when you need it.<\/p>\n With RCI, anyone can participate in online training without needing all of the required resources. ONLC has more than 300 locations across the country where you can attend training and not worry about hardware, software, network connectivity, or AV setup. It\u2019s all taken care of for you before you arrive.<\/p>\n Training centers are located in safe, easy to find locations and public parking is usually nearby at low or no cost to students. The training locations are also professionally staffed and contain break rooms and restrooms for your convenience.<\/p>\n Another benefit of RCI is that everyone taking the class has access to the instructor. If you get stuck on a lab exercise or need individual help, the instructor can assist you using a screen sharing session and get you caught up. You can also interact with the instructor through a conference call and speak with them as if you were in the same room.<\/p>\n Most of the time, the classes will average around eight students per class. Smaller class sizes ensure that everyone receives the right amount of access to the instructor. Also, because ONLC can combine students enrolled at different locations, they have a very low rate of cancellation. This way you can be certain that you\u2019ll be able to complete your training when it is scheduled.<\/p>\n Training at one of the many ONLC locations will also get you out of the office so that you don\u2019t have to worry about interruptions. When coworkers or management know that you\u2019re at your desk, they\u2019re more likely to ask you questions.
