Commons Area

Online's new office space was designed to facilitate collaboration. One concept that we used was that of the "Cave and the Commons." This is based on research conducted by Steelcase that states people need a quiet, personal space (a cave) and a place for collaboration (the commons).

We even have a pool table in our instructor commons. This gives people yet another opportunity to interact informally.
