Demand for our personal computer training services was exploding.

Large banks were moving into the region because of Delaware's liberal banking laws.

The PC was now considered a legitimate business tool by most companies.

Online was getting a greater share of the market because we had a more structured sales strategy.

Our instructional staff grew to 13 and we expanded to two floors our Wilmington office

We began to test the market for selling our computer training materials nationally.

Online became a Microsoft Authorized Education Center.

Online rapidly increased our staff to over 40 employees.

Club Dev 1991

Online rejected an offer to join Productivity Point International (PPI), a PC training franchise.

Online decided to expand its efforts to develop and market courseware nationally. We determined that if we can establish a market for our courseware, the revenue we would gain could help us remain an independent and financially healthy training company. In addition, with the increased revenue we could improve and reinvest in the quality of our courseware.

Summary: The PC training market was beginning to mature. At this time, all major software vendors had authorized training center programs. Our decision to not join the PPI franchise set the stage for our independence today. Being independent has forced us to figure things out on our own and has perhaps slowed our rate of growth. We value our independence very highly. Over the years, we have never regretted our decision to remain independent.
